Rest Day

Day 10 - 6/13/17 - Phillips Lake to Baker City, OR - 19 Miles

Average Speed - coasted downhill with a tailwind

Lodging - Baker City Bike Hostel - $25

Today we rode into Baker City around 10 AM and decided to call it a day.  This was a planned rest day.  We are staying at the Baker City Bike Hostel.  Kim, the hostess, made us feel right at home and it is really nice.  Highly recommend!

We used the day take a shower, wash clothes and grocery shop.

Turns out that today was a beautiful day.  The sun shone for the first time in a week.  Temps in the 70s and low humidity.  This is the kinda day I was expecting everyday in Oregon, but if you've  been following along you know it has been anything but that.

Had dinner at the last brew pub I will be visiting in OR on this trip, Barley Brown's...excellent!

Sorry for the lack of pics today.  I'll leave you with a shot from downtown Baker City.
