Halfway Home

Day 35 - 7/8/17 - Fowler, CO to Eads, CO - 78 Miles

Average Speed - Just call me "The Hammer"

Lodging - Eads City Park - Free
I am in Eads, CO, the official halfway point of my trip and today marks the completion of my 5th week on the road.  It's hard to believe how quick the time is flying.

I am riding the high plains of Eastern Colorado.  For the first time since I started this trip, when I look around, I don't see any mountains.  Wanna see what I saw for the last 78 miles...

28 Miles In

10 Miles Later
There use to be a Tree

I actually found it to be very beautiful.  I felt isolated and alone.  It made me realize just how small and insignificant I am.

  1. Congratulations on the half way point. Whew Well...if you're headed for Kansas ...you have more flatness ahead of you! As you are at the halfway point...every mile you medal will not be seen again. I know you are enjoying the adventure. Safe travels as you head your way home !
