Barking and Views

I made it to Astoria, OR.  I picked up my bike and all my gear this AM at the local bike shop.  Everything arrived in good order.

As we rode along the Columbia River on our way to the motel, I heard barking off to my left, in the direction of the river.  Since this trip is about exploring and experiencing, we ventured that way to find the source of said barking.  This is what we discovered.

Sea Lions, can you believe it?  My first time seeing them in the wild!  Talking to Emily, our bartender at Rogue Brewer, they are California Sea Lions that have ventured North in search of Salmon!

After a bit of a climb, we made it to our motel.  Check out this view from our room.  Good Day!
